Sifu Story
This game, in which you get older every time you die and the gameplay changes every time you get older, won my appreciation with its unique mechanics, so let's take a look at its story together.
The first character we control in the game is Yang, who we will understand after a while that he is a bad character. Yang and the 4 people next to him (they will all appear as bosses in the future) are raiding a martial arts school. When we meet the school's Sifu after defeating the students, there is a battle between us and the Sifu. Even though Sifu says we know a lot and he should have beaten him before but he made a mistake by coming back, Yang asks him to back off. We win the war between them and kill Sifu and his child. Later, the child comes back to life thanks to a magical talisman, and this talisman actually forms the mechanics of our game. This talisman that revives us every time we die brings us back to a more older age.
Present Day
We can say that our real game starts here. We now see our character as a grown up martial artist. Our goal is to take revenge on the people who killed our father. After getting our character, we set out and enter a warehouse. The person we are looking for in this warehouse is Fajar, who is on the raid that kills our dad. After advancing, we enter a botanical garden and start fighting with Fajar, who grows plants there with magic. Here we come across a small detail and this will apply to all bosses and will affect the end of our game.
After winning each boss battle, it's up to you to spare that person's life or kill that person. I preferred to kill the bosses with the fire of 8 years of vengeance by integrating with the character very quickly and I will tell the end of the story shaped accordingly. After the first battle, we go to a nightclub and, like John Wick, we knock out everyone inside and continue on our way. Then we encounter our second boss, Sean. He says he remembers the clothes we were wearing and we are from the school of bad students and the fight begins.
It is not flattering that he noticed that we were strong during the fight and said that we were fighting at almost Yang level. After killing Sean, we go to a museum and blow it up.
But this is not a museum you know. It is really interesting. It is a museum where you experience time-space concept shifts. As you progress here, the art design draws you in so much that you die until you are at least 20 years old. Finally, we start the search for Jinfeng, the CEO, by killing the artist Kuroki. We proceed by plundering the Jinfengin company, and we do not leave a single employee in the company.
Lastly, Jinfeng joins the battle to give us our punishment, but by killing him, we are now getting closer to Yang. After we find Yang's school, we are ready to go there to kill him. When we arrive at the school, we actually knock out everyone there, like what was done to us 8 years ago, and look on our way. Revenge is never the right way. Finally, we come face to face with Yang. He says that his goal is to save the lives of his loved ones, but not to be deprived of it. Sifu also tells him that he has to kill him because he is preventing him, and our last boss battle begins.
Then we break Wude's law by killing him where our father died 8 years ago. We return to our childhood and realize that we made a mistake in front of our father's grave, and we close the game by looking at the talisman.
