Martha is Dead Story
Martha is Dead Plot
When Martha dies, her twin sister Giulia is pretending to be Martha in order to catch the attention of her mother, who has always been closer to Martha. As the gap between her and Martha's identities becomes increasingly blurred, she decides to burn Giulia's circuits, revealing how her twin brother died. Despite the fact that we read in the papers that an assassination attempt was made by an Italian partisan group, our character is skeptical.
So Complicated and So Scary
Following a series of chilling events, Giulia contacts Lady White, a woman who was murdered by her lover. He receives clues that their mother is to blame for Martha's death during his communication with this mysterious being. As a result, she starts seeking for proof to use against her mother. She fantasizes about the day when her mother will be proven innocent and she will no longer have to pretend to be Martha in order to be liked by her.
As a result, tensions between Giulia and her mother are rising, and her mother is considering institutionalizing Giulia. Giulia, on the other hand, isn't giving up and is still looking for more information about Martha's death. In these sections, the story becomes so confusing that we don't know what is true and what isn't, who did it and why they did it.
We know a guy named Lapo was dating both Martha and Giulia at the same time. But we can't tell if Lapo was aware that there were two people, if the twins were aware, or what the truth was. On top of all of this, we now know that Martha was pregnant with this man and died while her baby was still alive. Meanwhile, our father is killed for betraying the SS.
What Actually Happened
We flee Tuscany for safety, as our mother wants to commit us to a mental institution, and our father and sister have died. In this city, the entire plot is unraveling. We understand that Giulia remained in a mental institution for the duration of the story, and that what we've seen so far isn't true. We realize I'm living in a fantasy world created by family traumas from the war. Depending on how you play the game, the number of question marks in your head may diminish.
You can learn which characters were real, how accurate things were, what our family's dynamics were, and how Martha really felt in this book. You can learn which characters were real, how accurate things were, what our family's dynamics were, and how Martha died in real life.
