Gameplay Mechanics
Lethal Company is a game where you control your character from a first-person perspective and search for scraps in the dark indoors. You must land on planets and collect scrap from dark buildings to meet your quota during the three working days the company gives you. You can use a flashlight to brighten dark places. However, we would like to add that the flashlight has a battery life, and you need to purchase it.
Each character in the game has four slots for equipping or carrying items. If you want to make high profits and fill the quota, we recommend that you manage your inventory smartly.
Flexible Working Hours
When you land on a planet in Lethal Company, your shift starts at eight in the morning. Thanks to flexible working hours, you can leave the planet whenever you want. It's important to keep an eye on the time, because after 5 PM on planets, aliens appear around your ship and outdoors. For this reason, we recommend that you be quiet and careful on the planet after 5 PM.
Store
At Lethal Company, as long as you fill the quota, the money from all your sales belongs to you. Using this money, you can make improvements to your ship or buy items that will help you. For example, you can light the darkness with a flashlight, attack aliens with a shovel, use a ladder to reach high objects, and fire mines with a stun grenade. You can also install teleportation portals on your ship, add a horn to distract aliens, and buy a signal transmitter to send messages to other players. Also, if you want to have some fun, you can buy the Jetpack, the second most expensive item in the store.
Moons and Weathers
Lethal Company features 9 planets with different enemy designs, difficulties, lootable items and map designs. Although you can enter three of these planets by paying a fee, you can enter the remaining six for free. Additionally, each planet has different weather conditions. The weather conditions on the planets are:
- Rainy: In case of rainy weather, there are swamps in the planet's outer spaces. If you don't get away from these swamps quickly, you will drown.
- Stormy: The most annoying weather condition of the game. If you carry metal on you during stormy weather, you may be struck by lightning. Additionally, lightning strikes randomly in different parts of the planet.
- Foggy: You cannot see anything but your fingers in foggy weather. If you do not know the planet, we recommend that you avoid this weather.
- Flooded: In case of flooded weather, you need to leave the planet as early as possible. As time progresses, pools will rise and make it impossible for you to pass. Your characters drown in pools because they cannot swim.
- Eclipsed: On planets with eclipses, aliens always wander around the outer regions, regardless of the time. Planets with eclipses are the most challenging and entertaining planets.
Should I Play Lethal Company?
Lethal Company is a game that combines tension and entertainment and was developed with the feedback of the players. If you are looking for a co-op game where you can have fun with your friends, we recommend that you keep Lethal Company on your radar. On the other hand, although Lethal Company allows single-player gameplay, it cannot be said to be entertaining. Playing Lethal Company alone is like sailing alone in Sea of Thieves; It is playable but not very enjoyable.
