Diablo 2 Story and Episodes
At the end of our first game, Diablo, the Lord of Terror, was defeated by a hero. A mortal hero? Really? Diablo doesn't suit his name at all. This character was the one we played in our first game. However, simply defeating him will not be enough, so our character drives Diablo's soul stone onto his own head. This soul stone is known as a stone that hides the soul of a demon or angel. However, things do not go as our character wishes, and our character is slowly losing himself.

What is the Lore of Diablo 2: Resurrected?
Diablo 2's story starts at this point with a cinematic. Marius, the narrator of our story, talks about our defeated hero completely losing control. As he loses control, he unleashes the demons of Hell to attack. The reason why our narrator knows about this event is that he is the only person alive. Since he was defeated by our character in the first game, he is given the name Black Traveler. In this game, the character we manage decides to follow the Black Wanderer, hoping to defeat the demon inside him.
Our player captures the Black Wanderer on the edge of the city of Kursast but fails to stop him. Because Diablo is no longer alone. He is accompanied by his brothers, who are just as bad as him. These are the Prime Evils: Mephisto, Lord of Hatred, and Lord of Destruction. Now that we have four different enemies, our game focuses on four different stories. Our story is about the seven great evils. By the end of this game, we will have killed five of them.
Act 1
Before we begin our story, we must again return to the first game. Our first game had a camp near the Tamoe mountains. This camp is a town run by the Rogues. Our story begins exactly at this point. The demonic troubles in Khanduras have been heard by all. Hearing this, our heroes decided to gather here. The purpose of this section is to try to catch the Land Wanderer. That's why we don't need to visit the sisters in the Blind Eye Monastery. However, the sisters do not welcome our character very warmly. Therefore, we do their will and cleanse the Evil Nest. As a result, we became close friends. Since we cannot stop Diablo alone, we must rescue someone from the Horadrim. We find the monastery of his equal and kill Andariel, who guards it, and save him. Then we join Warriv's trailer together.
Act 2
Our main character, who goes along with the caravan, suddenly finds himself in Lut Gholein. Here he begins to piece together the places where the Black Wanderer might have gone. We help the people by killing the Radament in the city. As a result, we get the Horadric Scroll, with which we can craft the Horadric Staff. We find the pieces in the rest of the chapter. We connect them and try to reach Rasha's tomb before the Black Wanderer. While doing this, we suddenly find ourselves fighting the claw vipers that hide in the sun. When we find all the pieces, we learn that there is a demon invasion in Jerhyn Palace. Our hero finds a new way to Tal Rasha's tomb by going to the Arcane Shrine. When we reach the tomb, we find that Baal has already been released. Then we will drive to Kurast.
Act 3
Our character arrives at the docks of Kurast, which has not yet been defeated by evil. Here we meet the anointed, and he asks us to defeat the evil that is eating his city. We set out to defeat evil and overthrow Diablo. To save the city, we must find the sacred Skatsimi Knife. The mad wizard Ormus helps us by using the knife to shape the seal and save the town. Meanwhile, our hero tries to destroy Mephiston's Force Orb, which is protecting the Black Wanderer. Alkor, the alchemist of Ksaban, contacts us and tells us that if we can find the Black Book, we can prevent the invasion. As a result, we learn that Mephisto is the cause of the city's evil, and we set out to destroy the Zakarum high council. Here we can track down Mephisto after we destroy the Forcing orb. Then we both engage in an epic battle to save the city.
Act 4
Our heroes go to hell. Our heroes, who come face to-face with Diablo, manage to kill him. Our heroes, who want to prevent the return of Mephisto and Diablo, go to Helforgea to destroy the soul stones. As a result, they prevent them from returning.
