Elden Ring Important Locations and Loots
The greater world promotes freedom, encourages exploration, and introduces exciting new mechanics such as Mounted Combat on a horse. There won't be many villagers or merchants in towns. But there will be lots of ruins and dungeons, as well as hubs to discover.

ELDEN RING WORLD – The Lands Between
The Lands Between is the world of Elden Ring. The story of this game unfolds: Those who live in The Lands Between have been blessed by the Elden Ring as well as the "Erdtree". Those who were blessed by the Elden Ring usually have a golden aura that can be seen in their eyes. Some of the blessed lost their grace and got exiled. The Elden Ring fell apart across the lands and was picked up by 6 demigods. They inherited different powers there and were physically altered and twisted by the power.
In sum, The Lands Between are divided into six distinct areas, each overseen by a demigod. A central hub connects these 6 areas.
Catacombs, Castles, Legacy Dungeons
You will find castles, catacombs and fortresses as you travel through The Lands Between. There are hidden treasures within these areas that can help you discover secrets and unique skills. Especially if you’re seeking for spirit summons or any other quality spells, these areas are just the right place.
Stormveil Castle (Legacy Dungeon)
Stormveil Castle is a challenging area with many enemies, traps, ballistas, and mini-bosses. After you've beaten Margit the Fell Omen, you could enter Stormveil Castle through the entrance to your left.
This challenging dungeon bears lots of important items for you to loot. It has two mini-bosses named respectively: Lion Guard and Key Master. After beating them, you can have access to the Wine Cellar to loot important items.
Murkwater Catacombs
Murkwater Catacombs is located in the eastern part of Western Limgrave, you can reach there by following the water north from Agheel lake. This was once a burial ground for fallen heroes, but it has become a haven for dangerous creatures. If you’re looking for Northern Mercenary Ashes to summon the spirit, this is the place.
Church of Dragon Communion
The ruined ruins of this church reveal the ruin that has come to the country. Dragon Altar is located in this area. Dragonfire Incantation is located in this area and you need to loot it from a corpse.
Post Town Remains
Players will want to bring poison resistance as the flowers in the area can inflict the Poison Status Effect. After defeating the flowers, use Torrent to double-jump into the central and blocked area that features a staircase leading to the Ruined Cellar Grace. Within the cellar, you will find a boss named Pumpkin Head.
After defeating the boss, the Ruined Cellar can be accessed to interact with Sorceress Sellen and loot the Carian Knight Set.
Dissenter’s Cave
This cave is located on the edge of a cliff and it is quite dark. You’d better bring a Torch with you. Its mossy depths are overrun by hostile humanoid creatures. You have to pass this area to reach the Dragon Altar. Normadic Merchant is also located on the southern side of the cave’s entrance.
Spiritsprings
Spiritsprings is located next to high cliffs. By stepping on them you can launch vertically up into the air and then land on the cliff, gaining a lot of altitude. This will save players from climbing up steep cliffs. Or they could be used as a means to escape.
Stakes of Marika
Stakes of Marika are statues found before entering new locations where many enemies are there to hug you. These statues serve as temporary respawn points. You can choose to resurrect on a Site of Grace or the Stake of Marika if you die nearby. Once you've got further away from the zone, if you die again, you won't be able to resurrect there again.
