Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Perks Guide

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, you can edit your character's perks before entering the online match. There are six different perk groups with different features in the game. These groups are Assault, Phantom, Hunter, Deadeye, Support, and Sniper, respectively.

There are three different perk systems in each perk group. The first of these systems is two perks called Base Perks. Base perks improve your character's core attributes. For example, thanks to the Extra Tactical perk, you can make your character have one additional tactical item. The second perk system is called Bonus Perk. These perks are represented by the color gold. Bonus perks give you a feature suitable for your chosen perk system. For example, if you choose the sniper perk system, you can choose the bonus perk called Focus.

The Focus perk increases the length of time your character can hold their breath while aiming. Thus, you can gain a tactical advantage. The last perk system is called Ultimate Perk. These perks are highlighted in green and provide a suitable buff to your loadout. You need to earn Bonus Perks and Ultimate Perks in the match. At the end of each match, random players earn random perks.

Base Perks

You can choose two base perks at the start of the game. If you are curious about these perks, we have prepared a list for you.

PERK	DESCRIPTION
Overkill	Lets You Carry Two Primary Weapons
Double Time	Increases your Sprint Speed by 30% and doubles your Tactical Sprint time
Battle Hardened	You become immune to your opponents' tactical bombs
Scavenger	You can loot thrown knives and ammo from dead players
E.O.D.	Live grenade's detonation time is delayed when you pick it up
Tracker	You can see the footprints of the opponents and you can see the kill marks
Strong Arm	See a preview of the trajectory for thrown items
Extra Tactical	Start the game with an extra tactical item

Bonus Perks

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II has six different bonus perks. Each bonus perk allows you to improve your different attributes. You can get a bonus perk for every loadout. We've compiled a list of bonus perks for you.

PERK	DESCRIPTION
Resupply	Spawn with an additional Lethal. Equipment recharges over 25 seconds
Spotter	You can see competitor equipment and field upgrades. You can mark the upgrades you see in the opposing team for your teammates. You can hack opponents' C4, Claymore, mines and systems.
Cold-Blooded	You do not trigger alarms. You will not be detected by the enemy AI.
Fast Hands	Reload, Equipment Usage, Swaping Weapon will be faster.
Quick Fix	Killing players immediately triggers health regeneration. Objectives increase health regeneration.
Focus	Extends your breath-holding time while aiming.

Ultimate Perks

Ultimate Perks are the group of perks that contain the most powerful perks in the game. You can add one of these perks to each loadout. If you are wondering about ultimate perks, we have prepared a list for you.

PERK	DESCRIPTION
High Alert	Vision pulses when spotted by an enemy player outside of view
Ghost	You will not be detected by Radars, Sensors and UAV
Hardline	Reduce Killstreak cost by one kill and reduce scorestreak cost by 125
Overclock	Field Upgrades are accelerated by 40%. You earn a field upgrade charge.
Survivor	You gain one self-revive each time you spawn.
Bird’s-Eye	The minimap is zoomed out. UAV and radars appear on your map. You can ping enemies.
